The Blue Parrot has recently been refurbished and features modern Australian cuisine. New chef, Edward burgess, has created a finer tasting menu incorporating many eastern flavours.

Speciality dishes include entrees such as peking Duck Noodle Salad with Asian Leaves; Calamari stuffed with chorizo sausage, semi sun-dried tomatoes and kalamata olives served on crisp polenta & salsa Verdi or The Blue Parrot tasting plate consisting of a variety of entrees.

For mains delicious examples include pork loin marinated with figs & roasted tomatoes served on a crisp potatoes with a horseradish cream sauce.

The restaurant is open for cafe lunch Monday to Friday with menus including- satay chicken, smoked salmon or BLT wraps with chips and salad for $12.50 to a 250gm eye fillet for $24.50

Dinner patrons should ask about the 3 and 4 course 'pick of the menu' special offers, $35.50 Monday to Thurday and $36.90 Friday and Saturday.
